Edward Walpole was the son of the first prime minister of Great Britain, Sir Robert Walpole. From the collection of former US ambassadors to France and Belgium.

Good portrait; case lacking crystal, profuse faint fine scratches on back, appears to be glued in place, crudely etched "Edward Walpole" on back.
